Ethnic Cleansing?

Aung San Suu Kyi, the State Counsellor of Myanmar, has denied ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar, despite widespread reports of abuses. During a BBC interview, Suu Kyi acknowledged that problems do exist but ethnic cleansing is “too strong” a term to use. Rohingya people are denied citizenship in Myanmar which views them as illegal immigrant from Bangladesh
