We are celebrating our 25 years by bringing you the story of Contact and the people who have made it happen, and our archive is still there for you to access at any time, and below you can read the story of Contact, how it came into being and the wonderful reflections of the people who have made it happen over the years.

When and how Contact will re-emerge and evolve will be determined by those who become involved.

Ex Prisoner Sentenced

March 17, 2019;

Lodoe Gyatso, also known as Sogkhar Lodoe, 56, a former Tibetan political prisoner, and his wife have been sentenced on unknown charges in a secret court session: Gyatso to 18 years and his wife to two. He disappeared following a protest in January last year at the Potala ground, his wife videoed his protest. Gyatso was formerly arrested in 1991 and spent 21 years in prison.
