HRW Reports Increased State Control for Tibetans

Human Rights Watch (HRW) has released a report entitled Detention and Prosecution of Tibetans under China’s Stability Maintenance Campaign,detailing the increase of “state control over daily life” for Tibetans. Forced Demolition of World’s Largest Buddhist Academy

Chinese authorities have begun demolition work at Larung Gar, the world’s largest Tibetan Buddhist centre, located in Serta County in Kardze Tibetan Autonomous region in the Sichuan province.
