COVID-19 Forces Monkeys from Towns

April 3, 2020;

With India’s lockdown closing markets and keeping people inside the monkeys of Himachal Pradesh are being forced back to the jungles in search of food. In Shimla far fewer of the animals are on the streets with senior veterinarian, Dr Sandeep Rattan, believing “most of the monkeys have left Shimla in search of food and they may be feeding on the fresh shoots in forest area”.
