We are celebrating our 25 years by bringing you the story of Contact and the people who have made it happen, and our archive is still there for you to access at any time, and below you can read the story of Contact, how it came into being and the wonderful reflections of the people who have made it happen over the years.

When and how Contact will re-emerge and evolve will be determined by those who become involved.

Indian Protester

June 29, 2014;

An Indian Tibet supporter has staged a 48-hour sit-in protest in McLeod Ganj square, in solidarity with Tibetans both inside Tibet and in exile and to raise awareness of Tibet and its struggle among the Indian public. Vishwa Purush Tulsi, a lawyer and founder of the Tibet Liberation Front, said “After the Chinese invasion, Tibetans came to India as…our guests…I am very hopeful…with this new government led by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
