An Indian Tibet supporter has staged a 48-hour sit-in protest in McLeod Ganj square, in solidarity with Tibetans both inside Tibet and in exile and to raise awareness of Tibet and its struggle among the Indian public. Vishwa Purush Tulsi, a lawyer and founder of the Tibet Liberation Front, said “After the Chinese invasion, Tibetans came to India as…our guests…I am very hopeful…with this new government led by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
