When and how Contact will re-emerge and evolve will be determined by those who become involved.
Dr Pema Yangchen has been voted in as the new Minister (Kalon) of Education at the Central Tibetan Administration. She received 26 votes in her favour, with 15 against and three abstentions at the fifth session of the 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-exile. Dr Pema, former Vice Principal of The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education lives in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
