We are celebrating our 25 years by bringing you the story of Contact and the people who have made it happen, and our archive is still there for you to access at any time, and below you can read the story of Contact, how it came into being and the wonderful reflections of the people who have made it happen over the years.

TYC Members Arrested

March 9, 2018;

According to a Facebook post, 80 Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC) activists in New Delhi were arrested this morning after storming the Chinese Embassy. The group were protesting against China’s illegal occupation of Tibet, timing their demonstration to coincide with Tibetan National Uprising Day. Across the country, events are being held to commemorate the uprising of March 10, 1959 in Lhasa.
